Oh Mountain is photographed in the highlands of Scotland. The day of the photograph was a cloudy day, but suddenly in a split second,the skies allowed a sunbeam to strike through and shine its light upon the mountain. That made a very distinctive kind of lighting, almost like a spotlight.
Collection
Oh Mountain is part of the photo artwork collection Wild Nature. This collection takes a different approach to the concept of nature photography. The focus in the images is quite opposite from the usual way. In the Wild Nature collection the focus could be a top of a mountain, so that the image is cropped in such way that sky takes up all the space. The Wild Nature collection has no signs of human interruption in nature.
